Suzhou LEKIN Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (LEKIN) was jointly founded by investors and senior experts in the semiconductor industry. LEKIN is committed to providing customers with the optoelectronic chips, and to being in the leading position of the world’s optoelectronic compound semiconductor.

In March 2021, Lekin successfully bid to acquire the assets of the optoelectronic compound semiconductor division of LG, the world’s top 500. The assets include nearly 10,000 patents, related technologies and complete sets of process equipment. LEKIN’s Fab is located in Taicang High-tech Zone, Suzhou, with an investment of RMB 1 billion in the first phase to build a R&D and manufacturing base; also established a R&D center in Suzhou Industrial Park with Materials Science Gusu Lab to develop high-performance optoelectronic products.

LEKIN’s main products include high efficiency ultraviolet LEDs, infrared VCSELs, automotive LEDs, and other optoelectronic devices. LEKIN has complete intellectual property rights in the entire GaN, GaAs chain of epitaxy, chips, packaging, modules, and applications. The patents are mainly in the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, China and China Taiwan.
